Lamp manipulation

Ceiling lamp adjusts the angle of the oval disk by pulling the sphere on the string.

Table lamp is a stand-type light that controls the brightness of a light source by moving a sphere attached to a string.

Floor lamp is a stand-type light that controls the degree of scattering of light sources by holding and rotating a sphere attached to a small oval disk.

천장조명은 줄에 달려있는 구를 당겨 타원형 원판의 각도를 조절한다.

단스탠드는 줄에 달려있는 구를 움직여 광원의 밝기정도를 조절하는 스탠드형 조명이다.

The three ovals are spread out in a stability. It means the characteristic of expandability that spread light. The lighting has a meaning and morphological similarity to Space Colony, which provides an artificial environment for humans to live in space. If you reach for the ceiling lamp, hold the red sphere, and pull it, the ovals spread out, and then the light would be spread in the user's own space.

3개의 타원이 균형감 있게 펼쳐져 있으며, 이는 빛을 직접적으로 비추는 확장성이라는 특성을 가지고 있다. 이 조명은 우주에서 사람이 살아가는 데 있어 인공적인 환경을 제공해주는 스페이스 콜로니와 의미와 형태적인 유사성을 가지고 있다. 천장에 있는 조명에 손을 뻗어 빨간 구를 잡고 당기면 날개가 펼쳐지면서 사용자의 공간 안에 조명의 빛이 퍼지게 된다.

In this table lamp, the plane and line consist triangle. We can see the characteristic of light called limitation. When the red sphere is moving up and down in diagonal line, we can imagine the instant movement of shooting star. The red sphere means shooting star. So if the shooting star no longer appears to be light as it moves away from our view, it would be interpreted that the red sphere is going down.

면과 선이 부드럽게 삼각형을 이루고 있는 이 조명에서는 한정성이라는 빛의 특성을 볼 수 있다. 대각선 위 빨간 구 형태의 상하 움직임을 통해 찰나의 순간에만 보이는 별똥별을 떠올릴 수 있다. 별똥별이 우리의 시야에서 멀어지는 것을 조명에서는 빨간 구가 위에 위치하고 있을 때 밝았다가 아래로 내려갈 수록 어두워지는 것으로 해석했다.

In this floor lamp, which has both transparency and immateriality, takes the form of orbiting planets when a red sphere is pushed sideways. The shape of solar eclipse due to revolution and rotation is represented by lighting. Light spreads out between large and small ovals, and as the user pushes the red sphere and makes the distance between the ovals, the intensity and amount of light will be increased.

투명성과 비물질성의 특성을 모두 가진 이 조명은 빨간 구를 옆으로 밀게 되면 마치 행성들이 공전하는 것과 같은 형태를 가지게 된다. 공전과 자전으로 인해 일식 현상이 일어나는 달을 조명으로 표현했으며 큰 타원과 작은 타원 사이에 빛이 새어나오게 되는데 사용자가 빨간 구를 밀어 타원 사이의 거리가 멀어질 수록 빛의 세기와 양은 많아지게 된다.
